Speech Therapy

Hello, my name is Ruby, and I'm a licensed Speech & Language Pathology Assistant with over 10 years of experience. As a proud Mexicana raised in Texas, I'm a native Spanish speaker and am passionate about providing bilingual speech therapy to children. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in SLP from the University of North Texas in 2015.

Over the years, I've had the pleasure of working in many different settings, which led me to develop a special interest in early intervention, language disorders, and speech sound production. In 2021, I was honored to be one of the first 500 SLP Assistants to be awarded certification through the American Speech and Hearing Association.

I thrive when working with diverse families and am dedicated to encouraging bilingual language development. When I'm not helping children, I love to travel with my husband, Tyler, and our dog, Ace. I also enjoy diving into DIY projects, crafting, and listening to audiobooks.
