Lead Guide

Born and raised in Mexico City, Anaid grew up in the Montessori environment, attending a Montessori school from age two to age eleven. She earned her bachelor’s degree in graphic design from Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City. Her lifelong passion for dance led Anaid to New York City, where she lived for two years chasing her dream as an artist, studying dance at Broadway Dance Center. Having always been fascinated by the absorbent mind of children, Anaid found her calling to as a teacher while giving dance lessons to young dancers in New York. She earned her Children´s House certification from AMI, and later served as a Lead Guide in Children´s House in Austin and Mexico City.

Anaid returned home to be with her family as she was recovering from her cancer journey. While in Mexico City, she completed five hundred hours of training with Yoga Alliance to become a yoga instructor.

Anaid lives in San Marcos, Texas with her husband, Wil, who is also a teacher. When Anaid is not working you can find her doing yoga, meditating, going for walks, baking, and enjoying the beauty that life offers.
